①深冬的早晨，太阳慢慢升高，屋顶上敷着的厚厚白霜，渐渐融化，潮湿了黛青的屋瓦和太阳红的瓦松。明媚的阳光，奢华地倾泻进农家小屋里来，绿色的藤萝窗纱，被金子般的阳光浸透，室内弥漫着浓浓的、暖暖的浪漫和温馨味道。女孩静静地坐在窗前的阳光里，一边衲花鞋，一边沐浴着幸福的阳光，一边梳理着心事。甜甜的笑容，很阳光很温暖地从她美丽的嘴角漾开来。

②楼顶上挂着的一串串红辣椒和苞谷穗子，也在滋滋地吮吸和收藏着冬日温暖的阳光。用盐巴腌浸透的腊肉，用夹杆串起的豆腐肠，一挂挂晾晒在屋檐下，收藏着阳光。摘回家的老南瓜，一个个圆溜溜的卧在楼月台上，挖回家的红薯都堆在院子一角，嗞嗞地吸收着阳光。水牛和山羊都散窝在山坡上，收藏和反刍着阳光。大片的庄稼地也在嗞嗞的吮吸和收藏着阳光，有的庄稼地已经被犁铧翻出了泥土，也在收藏着阳光。整个乡村世界，都在嗞嗞地吮吸收藏着阳光。

③收藏了一秋和将近一冬的阳光，漫山遍野的山茶花，路边篱笆下的海棠和梅花，都早熟了，全身暖洋洋的，等不及春天来到，就已经绽开了她们很阳光很美丽的笑脸。

④终于闲适了的母亲，在篱笆墙上闲适地晾晒着要腌制腌菜咸菜的蔬菜，或者在院子里的果树间搭上竹竿，晾晒蔬菜，或者晾晒拆洗过的被窝和冬衣。那么细心，那么惬意幸福。吸足了阳光，收藏了充足阳光的蔬菜，将会被切细拌上作料，然后盛装进陶罐里，再次放进阳光里晾晒，继续收藏阳光，酝酿成阳光味道充足的咸菜腌菜。全家人，整整一年，就可以慢慢咀嚼品味和回味阳光的味道。

⑤一边翻晒着被窝和衣服，母亲一边解开她的头巾，解开她的发髻，用竹蔑篦子细细梳理她粘结的、夹杂着细碎草茎枯叶的头发，也让满头花发像庄稼一样尽情吸收和收藏冬日暖暖的阳光，也梳理她逐渐板结的记忆和往事。

⑥穿得鼓鼓囊囊的小脚老祖母们，也禁不住这暖暖冬阳的诱惑，蹒蹒跚跚地踱出门来，三三两两聚坐在大门外的坡坎上，一边说着、梳理着陈年往事，一边解开长长的包头布，让满头白发也吸收和收藏着金贵的温暖阳光。经历无数寒暑风霜，她们曾经飘逸乌黑的秀发，早已长成了这稀稀拉拉的白发，如同秋收后，晚秋时节庄稼地里残存的零星庄稼秆和枝叶，苍白，干枯，稀疏。老祖母们一边回忆着自己也曾经满头秀发长势旺盛，也曾经青枝绿叶、枝繁叶茂过的青春岁月，一边细细梳理和数着自己曾经收藏过的阳光，一边继续收藏着阳光。她们也曾经很阳光、很美丽过，也曾经青枝绿叶、枝繁叶茂过，也曾经花过果过，也曾经深深悲过真真喜过呢。

⑦祖父们，三三两两地聚在村路边，或者谁家的院子里，一边滋滋地吃着一锅锅草烟，一边让自己花白的胡须、眉毛和头发，吸收和收藏着阳光。除了满头稀疏白发，胡子眉毛好像也是另一种庄稼呢。一生都忙碌着侍弄打理地里的庄稼，无暇顾及自身和身边，如今老了，才有闲心侍弄打理这些离自己最近的庄稼呢。这些庄稼越来越稀疏了，长势也越来越差，但是他们这些老伙计却很满意。一辈子，让多少庄稼吸足了水分，收藏了丰硕的阳光，也让多少的儿孙饱吸了阳光水分，长得茁茁壮壮枝繁叶茂啊！

⑧唉！一茬茬的乡村人，都是另一种庄稼呢，他们自己常常忘记了，甚至不知道呢。我们还是别打扰他们，让他们饱饱吸收和收藏点阳光吧！

⑨像收藏粮食一样，把阳光收藏满心屋，心里会多踏实啊！爱如阳光。也像收藏粮食和收藏阳光那样，把爱收藏在心里，阴郁的时候拿出来温暖自己，人生路上就该洒满了阳光吧！           （选自2008年2月《中国散文选刊》网刊第13期 ）

     Michael, a normal American, stays home on workdays. He plugs into his personal computer terminal in

order to connect with the office. After work he puts on his headphones, watches a movie on his home video

recorder or plays baseball on the computer. On many days, Michael doesn't talk to any other human beings,

and he doesn't see any people except the ones on television. Michael is imaginary, but his life style is very

possible. The inventions of modern technology seem to be cutting us off from communicating with our fellow

human beings.

     The world of business is one area in which technology is separating us. Experts say, for example, that

many people will soon be able to work at home. With access to a large central computer, employees such as

office clerks, insurance agents, and accountants could do their job at display terminals in their own homes.

They would never have to actually see the people they're dealing with. Also, the way employees are paid will

change. Workers' salaries will be automatically paid into their bank accounts, making paper checks

unnecessary. No workers will stand in line to receive their pay or cash their checks. Personal banking will

change, too. Customers will deal with machines to put in or take out money from their accounts.

     Another area in which technology is changing is entertainment. Music, for instance, was once a group

experience. People listened to music at concert halls or in small social gatherings. For many people now,

however, music is an individual experience. Walking along the street or sitting in their living rooms, they wear

headphones to build a wall of music around them. Movie entertainment is changing, too. Movies used to be

social events. Now, fewer people are going out to see a movie. Many more are choosing to wait for a film to

appear on television or are borrowing videotapes to watch at home. Instead of laughing with others, viewers

watch movies in their own living rooms.
