书生往吴，经年②，乃闻人说江西僧院，有圣琵琶，灵应非一，心窃疑之。因还江西时，令船人泊船旧处， * * 之。僧亦不在，所画琵琶前，已幡花香炉供养矣。取水洗之尽，还宿船中。至明日，又上。僧夜已归，以失琵琶故，邻人大集，方共悲叹。书主故问，具言前验：“今应有人背着琵琶，所以潜隐。”书生大笑，为说所画及拭却之由，自是灵圣亦绝。
