动物细胞生长繁殖的规律是左右对称发展。细胞系统左右两侧细胞的生长繁殖总是互相竞争，右侧增长引起跟左侧不对称不平衡，促使左侧细胞生长繁殖；其生长繁殖的惯性使其超过右侧，又促使右侧细胞生长繁殖以趋于平衡，就是在这样的“对称——不对称——对称”中，两侧竞相生长繁殖，直至成形。动物进化是由机体的不对称向两侧对称发展，而两侧对称发展正是从低级动物通向包括人类在内的高级动物的至关重要的一环。现在为多数人所知的最早的两侧对称多细胞动物化石，是在距今5.4亿年前的寒武纪地层中发现的。大量的多细胞动物化石在寒武纪地层中的发现，表明地球上的生命在这个时期发生过一次大规模的演化，古生物学家称之为“寒武纪大爆发”。1909年，在加拿大落基山脉的布尔吉斯页岩中，发现了5.15亿年前的软体组织动物化石，证明现生动物界的所有门类在寒武纪时已经出现。
然而，z004年11月我国古生物学家在贵州瓮安县北斗山区的岩石层中，发现了5.8亿年前生活在海洋中的两侧对称多细胞动物的化石。这一新发现在古生物学界激起了巨大的波澜，为我们翻开了地球早期生命演化史册的重要一页，首次将两侧对称动物化石的可靠记录提前约4000万年而到了寒武纪之前。
北斗山区发现的化石中的这种多细胞动物非常小，它的体长只有0.2毫米，还不及两根头发丝的宽度，肉眼无法看清，只能通过显微镜观察。尽管这一古老动物躯体很小，科学家还是辨别出了它内部的几个器官：一对体腔和成对排列的感觉窝，消化道前端有向腹部开口的口部和紧接其后为多层构造的咽壁所包绕的咽道等。它的形状像是压扁了的龟壳，机体由外胚层、内胚层和完全中胚层组成。它的组织构造的复杂性表明它已经处于成年期的发育阶段。这一化石是迄今为止已知的最古老的真体腔两侧对称动物化石的代表，而真体腔动物的起源至今仍是科学之谜。

Some people bring out the best in you in a way that you might never have fully realized on your own. My mom was one of those people.

My father died when I was nine months old, making my mom a single mother at the age of eighteen. While I was growing up, we lived a very hard life. We had little money, but my mom gave me a lot of love. Each night, she sat me on her lap and spoke the words that would change my life, “Kemmons, you are certain to be a great man and you can do anything in life if you work hard enough to get it.”

At fourteen, I was hit by a car and the doctors said I would never walk again. Every day, my mother spoke to me in her gentle, loving voice, telling me that no matter what those doctors said, I could walk again if I wanted to badly enough. She drove that message so deep into my heart that I finally believed her. A year later I returned to school-walking on my own!

Over the years, I experienced various levels of business success.
