时装生态轮回之道

①犹他州的奥斯汀·史密茨踏着滑雪单板从山顶上俯冲下来,“朋友说我姿势糟糕,但是衣服很酷。”他在博客中写道。他身上的滑雪服原料是回收的废可乐瓶,这种面料有个时髦的名字:“可持续面料”,由回收的可乐瓶、旧衣物的纤维、天然麻、无毒染料等制作而成。

②其实,这种利用废品、纤维再造制衣的技术在欧美国家已存在多年。人们也越来越接受“低碳装”的概念。不过它在中国这还是个全新的概念。现在,日本一家公司将这种可循环的服装材料带来中国并向李宁品牌提供。这种新型环保面料有一个新名称:ECO CIRCLE(生态轮回)。它是日本2002年研制出的一种面料,将回收的聚酯类衣物(制服制品)经过粉碎、化学反应、聚合等步骤再生而成的。美国老牌户外用品巴塔哥尼亚就使用这种材料。李宁首次把这个概念带入了中国,目前网球训练系列即将上市。

③李宁将这些旧服装回收上来(不过目前这个系统只接收本产品的旧衣),送进工厂,化学分解后,这些服装将变成新的面料。这类衣服会在标签上标出“衣年轮”标记,标记越多,代表它再生的次数越多。据龟井范雄介绍,“ECO CIRCLE”作为“可持续面料” ,它的生产从旧服装回收、送进工厂、化学分解、到新面料形成,这过程将使生态圈系统的能源消耗和二氧化碳排放量各降低大约30%。

④即便旧衣回收的环保意义和技术让人津津乐道,但推广旧衣回收再生的活动还是困难重重。英国的一项调查显示,一个英国人每年在衣服上的支出约为600英镑,丢弃衣服价值却高达400英镑。每年有63%的废旧衣服被丢弃,进入垃圾填埋和焚烧场,能被回收上来的只占16%。在中国,人们对旧衣也同样排斥。据《新知客》联合珍古道尔环保组织发布的《 “衣年轮”低碳着装调研报告》显示,35%的被访者选择丢弃旧衣物。

⑤即便在垃圾分类最成熟的国家,衣服也属于最难回收的一类。因为其往往由混合面料构成。尤其是化纤和混纺的衣服,由于含有多种原料及各种颜色,一般人很难辨别,再加工的难度很大,目前还没有一种技术可以对衣服进行百分之百的回收处理。

⑥在日本,回收1千克旧衣成本为20—30日元,跟以石油为原料生产的成本相当。李宁副总裁方世伟也承认,ECO CIRCLE产品的回收无疑会加大配送渠道等运营成本,他希望越来越大的市场能带来整体成本的降低。

⑦更值得注意的是,在《新知客》的调查中,受访者中有约37%的人首选棉麻为主的衣服,化纤仅占2%。大部分民众不愿因为环保而牺牲舒适,这也是回收再生的化纤类制品目前大部分仅应用于运动外套的原因,舒适性也将成为厂商面临的挑战之一。
