　　显祖③见而悦之，即除奉朝请，引于内馆中，侍从左右，颇被顾眄。天保末，从至天池，以为中书舍人，令中书郎段孝信将敕书出示之推。之推营外饮酒，孝信还以状言。显祖乃曰：“且停。”由是遂寝。后累官至中书舍人，帝时有取索，恒令中使传旨，之推禀承宣告，馆中皆受进止。所进文章，皆是其封署，于进贤门奏之，待报方出。兼善于文字，监校缮写，处事勤敏，号为称职。
