某大厦位于滨海地区，基础为桩基。采用400mm×400mm钢筋混凝土预制桩。桩长24m，分上、下两段，上段长10m，下段长14m，中间接头采用四根角钢焊接，单桩设计承载力为600KN。大厦由A、B、C三区组成，A区打桩完毕，开挖基坑后，现场质检人员发现，桩顶存在较严重的位移现象，于是请来某专业研究机构分析原因。专业研究人员进行了现场勘测，量测了桩顶位移的数据，分析了位移的规律性，并进行了小应变动力测试和抽样垂直静荷载实验，发现断桩率高达20%。

(3)桩顶偏移程度与断桩密切相关。由于桩身中间在接桩处断开，失去了约束作用，临近区域打桩对上段桩的影响程度增大，严重的在接头处出现错位，致使上段桩的桩身和桩顶发生较大侧向移位。
报告对B、C两区桩基施工提出改进建议：采取合理沉桩程序和方法；施工场地采取降水措施；改进接桩方法和保证接桩质量，或修改设计，采用其他类型桩基。
