  ①前几天,从电视上看到记者采访中国男子体操队时,一名队员成竹在胸地说:一个动作,只要在训练时有七次、八次成功,比赛时就有把握去做。说此话时,这位队员目光坚毅,面色沉稳。这是自信的表现。自信在关键时刻是会成就辉煌的。

  ②这样的例子很多。譬如刘翔,无论比赛时是分在自己熟悉的跑道上,还是分在自己很少去跑的边沿跑道上,他总是自信自守,平静以待。再如前乒乓球运动员邓亚萍,无论比赛时是顺境,或是逆境,她总是自信有加,挥拳加劲,从而把劣势转为优势,优势变为胜势。这种“自能成羽翼,何必仰云梯”的自信力,往往是造就运动员冲金夺银的关键因素之一。

   ③自信成就辉煌,不是说只要自信,就能成就辉煌,而是说自己要认识自己,自己要相信自己。认识自己的前提是“知彼”。只有真“知彼”,才能真“知己”。不知对方虚实,就难以战而胜之;相信自己的前提是实力。没有实力,空有豪情万丈,虚有无穷天地。毕竟,在竞技场上,钟薄无震声,力厚响山河。

  ④自信成就辉煌的核心是创新。只有自已能创出新意,具有“核心技术” “绝招”“秘密武器”“杀手锏”,才有可能最终胜利。奥林匹克的精义是更快、更高、更强。要做到这些,没有一点创新精神,没有一点创新技术,没有一点创新表现,只会重复老一套,温习老功课,演习老技法,是不可能自成高格上境界,翻着筋斗入胜境的。

  ⑤自信成就辉煌的关键是求已自助。竞技项目从来就是这样:我快、我高、我强,别人也在快、也在高、也在强,如时钟之针只会向前不会倒退一样,竞赛之车谁也不会倒着开。关键是,求人不如求自己,只要横下一条心,发挥自己的优势,挖掘自己的潜力,做自己的主人,就有可能在强者之林中胜出,创造一种辉煌。

  ⑥自信成就辉煌的灵魂是求实进取。自信不是目的,而是认识规律、发现规律、学习规律、依据规律,从而攀岩而上,登高赋新。扔掉“自负感”,克服“自傲症”,这是态度上的求实进取。当然,自信绝不是自封,而是以开放的心态,向强者学习,化强者的优势为自己的优势,既不固步自封,又不安于小成。这种自信,只有实事求是之意,毫无刚愎自用之心。也正因为如此,行动上要踏踏实实、自自然然,带着自信学别人,只有这样,才能遇到突变不惊慌,无故加之不震怒。

  ⑦70多年前,鲁迅先生在《中国人失掉自信力了吗》一文中写道:“自信力的有无,状元宰相的文章是不足为据的,要自己去看地底下。”这话讲得透彻。试看当今,改革带来的动力,开放带来的活力,灾难带来的凝聚力,不仅使奥运健儿,而且使每一个中国人,都充满着自信,并相信:自信会成就辉煌。(摘自《人民日报》)

London—coffee protects mice from radiation and could get the same way in humans, according to Indian scientists.

Scientist at India’s Bhabha Atomic Research Center discovered that mice injected with caffeine (咖啡因)remained alive after high doses(剂量)of normally lethal radiation.

Although the study was limited to animals, Kachadillilli George, head of the research team, believes the findings could have implications (something suggested )  for humans .
