       徐悲鸿是我国已故的著名画家。他的画不仅远销国外,而且有的还制成了纪念邮票。

       徐悲鸿幼年时就酷爱画画。他出生在江苏省一个贫苦农民的家庭。在乡间很难买到画本,他就拣些香烟盒,每天照着烟盒上的画描绘。一碰到学画的机会,他决不肯放过。有一天,父亲的一个朋友来串门,顺便画了一张小老虎,他就认真琢磨小老虎的形象。第二天早上,他画了一张小老虎,拿给父亲看。父亲看了摇摇头说: “不像虎,倒像条狗啊!”徐悲鸿不服地说:“不像虎我再重画,非画得像虎不成!”     

       从此以后,徐悲鸿长年累月画不停。夏天,他顶着烈日画农民xīn qín(        ) 劳动的情景;冬天,他冒着严寒画风雪中的树木、村庄。为了画好奔跑的马,他就跟在马车后面,仔细guān chá(        )马在运动时的神态和肌肉变化。有多少次,由于他两眼只顾盯住奔跑的马,忘记了道路的坑坑洼洼,摔了跤,把手、脚、脸都磕破了。可他不喊一声疼,连身上的土都顾不得拍打,爬起来jì xù(        )追马。

Your time is so limited that you shouldn’t waste it repeating someone else’s life. Don’ t be trapped by dogma(教条)—which is living with the results of other people’ s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart. It somehow already knows what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
