格尔尼卡

  毕加索是位有民族正义感的画家。1936年西班牙内战期间,支持佛朗哥的纳粹德国的空军炸毁了格尔尼卡市,造成了大量无辜平民的死亡。毕加索以此为题材,创作了名画《格尔尼卡》,表现出平民在德军轰炸下悲惨死去的情形。在欧洲,这幅画没有人不知道。    

  “二战”爆发后,巴黎被纳粹德国占领了。毕加索依旧在巴黎的工作室作画。奇怪的是纳粹并没有对这位名画家有所不敬,因为戈培尔的德国宣传部想借这件事说明他们是多么文明,多么有教养。
