     What would you do if you had a ticket for an exciting movie which you want to see very much?

Maybe you would say'' I would like to go to movies." But unluckily,  you will have to get ready for the

math exam tomorrow. What would you do this time? Go to movies or get ready for the exam? If your

answer is giving up seeing movies and working hard for the exam~ we say you have strong self-control.

Self-control is not anything you have with your birth, it needs to be cultivated in your mind.  Sometimes

you are attracted by one of the stories that is not worth reading.  You shouldn't waste your time reading

such a story, or you will feel sorry later.

     Don't go to bed late because of a nice TV movie, or you will go to school late. Neither should you

stay in bed too late on cold mornings, for it is a waste of time. Every one of us has some habits,  a few

of which might keep us from making progress in life. Then we must use our self-control to become free

of them.

     Remember it is necessary for you to cultivate strong self-control.
